ConnectSecure reports your clients will read

Connect ConnectSecure to Varaxon Scan Hub with an API key, map each ConnectSecure company to a client, and build ranked, plain-language reports without exporting a file.

What Scan Hub reads from ConnectSecure

  • One key, many companies.

Paste a ConnectSecure API key, pick which company belongs to which Scan Hub client, and connect them in one pass.

  • Data separation, checked.

Before a report is built, Scan Hub checks that ConnectSecure sent only that company's data. Anything it cannot confirm is left out of the report.

  • On demand or automatic.

Build reports when you need them, or turn on automatic reports for the client.

How to connect ConnectSecure

  1. In ConnectSecure, go to Global, Settings, Users. Open the menu on a user (a read-only user is best) and choose API Key.
  2. In Scan Hub, open Connections, choose ConnectSecure, and enter your pod address (like pod104.myconnectsecure.com) and the key.
  3. Pick the ConnectSecure company for each Scan Hub client.
  4. Run the free data separation check, then build the first report.

What the report states explicitly

  • The report says the data came from ConnectSecure, and when it was read.
  • Data that could not be confirmed as this company's own is left out, and the report says so.
  • Known exploited vulnerabilities (CISA KEV) go to the top, then EPSS and CVSS order the rest.

Common questions

Is the API key safe?
Scan Hub keeps it encrypted and only the server can read it. Use a read-only ConnectSecure user for the key.
What is the data separation check?
A free check that reads a sample from ConnectSecure and confirms it belongs only to the company you picked. It builds no report and uses no credit.
Does Scan Hub replace ConnectSecure?
No. ConnectSecure keeps scanning. Scan Hub writes the client report from its data.
